What We Believe:
Statement of Faith
Fredonia Holiness Church is an independent,
non-denominational, conservative Holiness church.
We believe as the Bible teaches in Romans 3:23:
"For all have sinned, and come short of the glory
of God;" (KJV). And thereby all need to be saved.
The Bible says in I John 1:9: "If we confess our sins,
he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to
cleanse us from all unrighteousness." (KJV). We
believe that once saved and following God, He will lead
the honest and just heart into Sanctification. This is
the cleansing of the heart from the carnal nature and
the filling of the Holy Spirit (not the gift of tongues),
which is the Comforter that Jesus promised when He
went away. John 14:26: "But the Comforter, which is
the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name,
he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you." (KJV). To sum it all up, we believe that the honest heart, seeking God, can have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
